I just had to paint these beautiful eyes! I wonder what the cat is thinking? The background of the painting is iridescent gold. I saw this kitty's face on Flickr, and asked the photographer's permission to use the image for the painting. An artist since childhood, I have been fascinated by color, faces and natural forms. Taking every class in art I could find, I enjoyed oil painting in particular, and portraiture became my passion.
