This Springer Spaniel is watching for anything that moves - although she is a beloved pet, her heritage is hunting. But she loves to be petted and cuddled, and is happy to be with her human family. An artist since childhood, I have been fascinated by color, faces and natural forms. Taking every class in art I could find, I enjoyed oil painting in particular, and portraiture became my passion. Painting from life, or photographs if necessary, I love to bring out the personality of a someone "from heart to art." Painting outdoors in nature is exhilarating, a real joy and renewal of the soul.
