What amazed me about this surfer is that he was standing on an offshore rock with his board, and then he would catch a wave as it rolled by the rock! I like the water movement and the reflection of the surfer in the water below him. For canvas prints, I can add textured clear acrylic brushstrokes that make it look like an original work of art. An artist since childhood, I have been fascinated by color, faces and natural forms. Taking every class in art I could find, I enjoyed oil painting in particular, and portraiture became my passion. Painting from life, or photographs if necessary, I love to bring out the personality of a someone "from heart to art." Painting outdoors in nature is exhilarating, a real joy and renewal of the soul.
