Driving along Pacific Coast Highway, I stopped to capture this beautiful view of the California coastline at Big Sur. It looks like the ocean is taking little bites out of the rocky shoreline! About Alice Leggett
An artist since childhood, I have been fascinated by color, faces and natural forms. Taking every class in art I could find, I enjoyed oil painting in particular, and portraiture became my passion. Painting from life, or photographs if necessary, I love to bring out the personality of a someone "from heart to art." Painting outdoors in nature is exhilarating, a real joy and renewal of the soul.
