Reflections are so intriguing to me. I like the position of the girl looking for sea shells, because it reminds me of when I was her age, and curious about everything. The colors I choose are more brilliant than nature to suit my imagination - artistic license! An artist since childhood, I have been fascinated by color, faces and natural forms. Taking every class in art I could find, I enjoyed oil painting in particular, and portraiture became my passion. Painting from life, or photographs if necessary, I love to bring out the personality of a someone "from heart to art." Painting outdoors in nature is exhilarating, a real joy and renewal of the soul.
