This Springer Spaniel is watching for anything that moves - although she is a beloved pet, her heritage is hunting. But she loves to be petted and cuddled, and is happy to be with her human family. For canvas prints, I can add textured clear acrylic brushstrokes that make it look like an original work of art. Contact me before you order the print for more information. Commissions accepted! If you would like to purchase this original, please visit https://www.etsy.com/listing/123016780/springer-spaniel-dog-6x6-original-oil?ref=shop_home_active_11
An artist since childhood, I have been fascinated by color, faces and natural forms. Taking every class in art I could find, I enjoyed oil painting in particular, and portraiture became my passion. Painting from life, or photographs if necessary, I love to bring out the personality of a someone "from heart to art." Painting outdoors in nature is exhilarating, a real joy and renewal of the soul. Painting the still life in the quiet solitude of my studio allows me to contemplate carefully the play of light across form, and subtle color relationships. Please contact me if you have a question!
